Info
I'm not the one who finishes beauty. I make the room where beauty can dwell. What I make isn't fine art, and it isn't just housewares — it's a ‘usable object’ with time working inside it. That's the work.
I've been carving and shaping wood since 2016. Useful and useless, stumbling stone and stepping stone, a single day and forever — the pleasure is in crossing between them. Somewhere on the border of the everyday and art, I keep walking, a step at a time.

Where each piece of wood came from, and what happened to it before it arrived.
Buildings went up on the hill behind the studio, and a lot of trees came down. Slag from smelting lies about on the same hill. Trees that split, that cracked, that never made it into timber. What reaches the bench has already had a life — the splits and the weathering are that life, not a defect in it.
